BIOGRAPHY
Anne Muntges is a Brooklyn based artist whose work focuses primarily on highly detailed drawing and installation. She’s exhibited at the Children’s Museum of Arts in Manhattan, Ukrainian Institute of Modern Art in Chicago, and Burchfield Penney Art Center in Buffalo. Most recently her work was on view in the exhibition Consuming Moment, at the Roswell Museum and Art Center in Roswell, NM.
Muntges’ work is in many collections including the Library of Congress, Joan Flasch Library, and the Burchfield Penney. She was awarded a NYFA/ NYSCA Fellowship in 2014, and many residency fellowships since 2010 including the Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts, Roswell Artist in Residency Program, and currently Mana Contemporary.
