BIOGRAPHY
Santiago Echeverry is a Colombian American New Media Artist, Producer, and Educator, with a background in Film, Television, Video and Performance Art. He started exhibiting internationally in 1992, participating in festivals such as Siggraph, Siggraph Asia, FILE and the Japan Media Arts Festival, among others. In his latest projects he is producing a series of experimental videos, digital prints, and virtual portraits, created with the volumetric sensor Kinect and custom code in Processing, that capture three-dimensionally the members and supporters of vibrant LGBTQ communities around the world.
